*After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete required intake forms prior to your appointment* I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University at Buffalo (South Campus). I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals move from feeling stuck to living fulfilling, empowered lives. My clinical work began in a domestic violence shelter, where I had the privilege of supporting women and their children through some of the most challenging transitions of their lives. There, I provided individual and group therapy focused on safety, boundary-setting, self-worth, and relationship healing. Watching people begin to believe in themselves again and take steps to reclaim their lives was deeply rewarding—and continues to fuel my work today. I specialize in working with adults, women, and adolescents navigating relationship conflict, codependency, family-of-origin dynamics, addiction, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, emotional regulation strategies, group therapy, and inner-child and somatic work. My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I strive to be a consistent, safe place for people to feel seen and supported as they process their stories and learn healthier ways to navigate life. I love walking with people as they reconnect with their own strength, rebuild their confidence, and begin to make different choices from a place of clarity and self-trust.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is rooted in connection, safety, and empowerment. I know how important it is to feel truly understood, especially when opening up about difficult or deeply personal experiences. I’m here to offer a nonjudgmental space where you can process your emotions, explore your patterns, and try out new ways of coping that actually serve you. I believe healing happens in relationships, and I’m committed to showing up authentically and compassionately in our work together. I’ll meet you where you are, whether you’re still figuring out what you need or you’re ready to dive in. I use practical tools to support emotional regulation and insight, but we’ll always work at your pace. I love supporting people who are breaking generational cycles, working through family-of-origin wounds, or shifting out of codependent dynamics. I also have a passion for helping clients work through various forms of addiction—whether to substances, food, sex, or relationships—by helping them understand the root of their coping and build a life that feels safer and more grounded. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We’ll figure it out together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, your story, and how you’re doing currently, and I’ll make space for any questions or concerns you may have. There’s no pressure to go deep right away—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. Ongoing sessions are structured but flexible. We’ll focus on the goals we’ve set together, and I’ll incorporate tools and interventions that are most helpful for your needs. You might learn to recognize and shift thought patterns, build skills for emotion regulation, or explore your past through inner child or somatic work to gain insight into present-day behaviors. We’ll also pay close attention to your relationships and how past dynamics may be showing up in current ones. Therapy is a space where you’ll be supported and challenged—not to be different, but to reconnect with your authentic self and learn how to show up for your life in a way that aligns with your values. Over time, my goal is for you to feel more confident, connected, and capable of navigating whatever comes your way.
