“I started neurofeedback hopeful that it could help with my anxiety, negative intrusive thoughts, negative self-talk, and focus. And after about three months of working with Dr. Karen, I'm happy to say, it has helped with all of those issues and more. My sleep has gotten better so has my ability to handle conflict and confrontation and I've been more productive and focused at work. Overall, I would say my brain has become more resilient and adaptable. Furthermore, working with Dr. Karen is a dream. She is so kind, thoughtful and helpful. It's been easy to schedule appointments with her. She is the most flexible practitioner I've ever worked with in terms of scheduling. Dr. Karen also does a wonderful job at creating a comfortable experience. She explains the process and checks in along the way. I would highly recommend working with her.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a compassionate Therapist, Coach, I work holistically using traditional and nontraditional counseling methods. I’m certified and trained in EMDR, Neurofeedback, mental health nutrition, ketogenic diet, CBT and humanistic astrology. I’ll guide you gently toward resolving your concerns while developing a deeper feeling of self-love and meaning in your life. If you want to transcend your problems and enhance your personal and spiritual development, contact me for a no-charge 15-minute consultation to determine if we can work together. I work with teens, college students, and adults. I offer online & virtual sessions. I’m licensed in Arizona & Washington.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I like to begin with an open mind. We can draw from many different sources. We can explore your thoughts, your inner talk and daily chatter. Discovering emotions may help sort out your inner feelings such as sadness, fear, anger, guilt or shame. We can follow your intuition for a transpersonal journey into your subconscious, home to our dreams, our inner child and our spirit or higher self. We can also work with your behavior and actions to identify what may impede your growth and livelihood in order to remove blocks that limit your potential.
