Hello! My name is Katelyn and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with eight years of experience working in community and residential settings. I’ve worked with individuals experiencing addiction, anxiety, depression, and a variety of other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients recognize and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns holding them back, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to build new ways of responding to difficult thoughts and emotions, and Solution-Focused Therapy to focus on strengths and the changes clients want to make. We will work together to find what techniques work best for you! Starting therapy can be difficult, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. You don’t need to know exactly what you need from therapy before you begin. We can figure that out together.
