Getting to know Kathryn Weksler
Kathryn received her undergraduate degree with a Psychology major from C.W. Post University. Following graduation, she began a career in Behavioral Analysis. After a few years of using behavioral analytical techniques with the autistic population, she completed her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at New York University.
Kathryn believes that each individual has unique experiences that add to the people we become; however, they do not define who we are. She uses a variety of counseling techniques and interventions to best serve the needs of her clients.
She specializes in developmental disorders but also has experience with mood disorders, psychosis, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, and anxiety disorders. Kathryn has an in-depth background working with children and has experience with teenagers as well as adults.

Great experience, Kathryn’s kindness made me feel at ease since the first session, on top I want thank Kathryn to be a great listener, I had few therapists before her but this was the first time I felt heard and understood.
