Seeking support takes courage, and I want to thank you for considering yourself on this journey. My name is Katie, and I am an LLMSW dedicated to helping you cultivate the best version of yourself. I believe everyone has the capacity for healing; we just have to find the right path. I am an inclusive, HAES-affirming, trauma-informed, and justice-centered social worker rooted in compassion and connection. My work is guided largely by a Humanistic approach. You are the expert and author of your life story. I have experience working with co-occurring and substance use disorders, dissociative and personality disorders, IDD/ASD, parenting, religious trauma, and C-PTSD. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and support individuals exploring identity, sexuality, and transition. As a US Navy Veteran, I am especially passionate about supporting veterans and their families navigating mental health and reintegration. I hold a BA in Human Development and Family Studies from American Military University, and a Master's in Social Work from Spring Arbor University. "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Carl Rogers
