Hello! I’m Kayla Gaffney, a Licensed clinical social worker dedicated to supporting individuals on their unique journeys toward healing and self-discovery. With a compassionate approach, I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, high-stress occupations, trauma, and gender and sexuality exploration. My experience spans diverse populations, including children, the aging community, and individuals facing chronic and persistent mental health challenges. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where you feel empathy and compassion. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, develop coping strategies, and cultivate a greater sense of well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our work together, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches because there is no one-size-fits-all model. My focus is on being client-centered and prioritizing your well-being. Some of the modalities I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. Together, we’ll find the best approach that resonates with you and supports your goals.
