Kelly King, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
As an LGBTQIA+ affirming, person-centered therapist, I strive to create a welcoming space where you feel truly heard, seen, and validated. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting my approach to suit your individual needs. I firmly believe that everyone has the ability to make meaningful changes, and sometimes, a little extra support can be the key to success. Together, we'll set goals and develop a plan that guides your progress during our time together. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in Colorado. I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Addictions Counseling and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. My primary focus is on addiction and recovery, and I am passionate about supporting individuals and families through the challenges of addiction. I believe everyone deserves happiness and forgiveness, and I'm here to help you work through addiction-related issues and build a path toward recovery. I also support family members affected by a loved one's addiction, recognizing the impact it has on the entire family system. In addition to addiction, I specialize in treating co-occurring disorder -- depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can openly share your concerns, and together, we can create a plan that empowers you to make lasting positive changes. If you're ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's work together to create the life you deserve.
