Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor with over 20 years of experience in mental health and education. While I began my career working with children and adolescents, I’ve spent the last decade helping high-achieving adults navigate anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, and workplace challenges. I specialize in supporting professionals who are juggling a lot and still wondering if it’s them (hint: it’s not)—by helping them feel more confident, grounded, and clear about their next steps. I take a collaborative, strength-based, and solution-focused approach to therapy. I believe you are the expert on your life, I'm here to bring the flashlight, the map, and the encouragement snacks for the journey. I integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies, solution-focused therapy, and coaching techniques to create practical, tailored support that fits your real life, not just your ideal life on paper. I work best with motivated adults who may look "put together" on the outside but are managing hidden struggles like anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD, overthinking, and burnout. If you are a professional working in a high-pressure career while trying to balance career, family, and personal growth, or a leader dealing with high-functioning anxiety, you’re in the right place. Together, we’ll turn overwhelm into a solid action plan you can feel good about.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I bring a warm, supportive, and slightly witty energy into every session. Expect a mix of deep listening, thoughtful questions, gentle challenges, and the occasional (well-timed) laugh. My clients often say they feel heard, understood, and energized after sessions, like they've exhaled for the first time in a while. My path to becoming a therapist began with a deep passion for education, leadership, and personal development. After working in K-12 and higher education, I saw firsthand how stress, self-doubt, and burnout can impact even the most capable individuals. I chose to become a clinical therapist and coach because I believe everyone deserves the tools to thrive, not just survive, in their personal and professional lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We’ll start by defining clear, meaningful goals that excite you, not just what you “should” want. Then, using manageable action steps, accountability check-ins, and mindset work, I’ll support you in building sustainable momentum. We celebrate the small wins just as much as the big ones because progress deserves a spotlight, no matter the size. Our first session will feel like a relaxed but focused conversation. I’ll ask you about your goals, challenges, strengths, and what a “win” would look like for you. You can expect to feel heard without judgment, to gain insight into patterns you might not have noticed, and to leave with a few next steps you can start applying right away. (Spoiler alert: no awkward silence, no endless “tell me about your childhood” if that’s not your vibe.)
