Hello, I'm Ken. My journey in mental health began with traditional Western training, working in the juvenile correctional system and hospital social work. These experiences were foundational, but it was my personal healing journey that truly shaped my approach to therapy. I've explored a variety of modalities including psychotherapy, bodywork, energetic healing, shamanic journey work, Eastern philosophy, yoga, and martial arts. This exploration led me to question, 'What if there are other methods of treating folks besides traditional counseling?' This question brought me to a pivotal moment in my life. I had a near-death experience when I was struck by lightning, which profoundly changed my perspective. After recovering, I chose to merge my traditional training with alternative healing practices, creating what I call Dimensional Wisdom. My goal is to provide you with tools and guidance to raise your vibration. When you raise your vibration, you change your perception, which is key to improving your reality. This shift in perception is a prelude to obtaining sovereignty—supreme power or authority. In my view, sovereignty means acquiring self-empowerment and owning your power, freeing yourself from the effects of the external world. As a therapist, teacher, and author, I bring a unique perspective to helping others. I think outside the box, combining traditional and alternative methods to offer a holistic approach to healing. I am also deeply committed to cultural competence as a person of color and proudly advocate for women and my LGBTQ brothers and sisters.
