Kimberly McKenna, LCSW

Psychotherapist
VA
Hello! I'm the CEO and owner of Soulshine Therapy & Wellness, PLLC, and a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping my clients achieve healing and reach their life goals through a mind, body, spirit approach. I offer trauma therapy and life coaching services-check out each in my services section to see which one fits you best. If you're unsure, just give me a call and we'll discuss it. I provide teletherapy for those living in Virginia and North Carolina and offer life coaching globally. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Fayetteville State University and a Bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University. Since 2004, I have worked in the social work field with children and families, case management, inpatient assessments, managing partial hospitalization, and linking clients to resources. I have provided trauma therapy since 2012, following my commission in the Air Force, where I worked with combat trauma, sexual trauma, domestic violence survivors (including child abuse and neglect), and clients with various other trauma experiences. Over the last decade, I've come to see that life coaching is also a valuable skill that most, if not everyone, can benefit from when approached from a mental health perspective. I've learned so much from my own coach and am committed to growing this service within my business. Get in touch with me today for more information.
