Many of my clients appear highly capable on the outside while privately struggling with chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, unresolved trauma, relationship difficulties, or a persistent feeling of disconnection from themselves and others. They are often thoughtful, high-functioning individuals who have spent years pushing through overwhelm, prioritizing others, or minimizing their own emotional needs until those patterns begin impacting their relationships, sense of self, and overall well-being. I work with individuals and couples seeking deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, and meaningful long-term change. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I provide a thoughtful, highly individualized approach to therapy that integrates trauma-informed, existential, mindfulness-based, and client-centered modalities. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach designed to help clients process trauma, distressing experiences, anxiety, and deeply rooted emotional patterns in a way that can feel more effective and relieving than traditional talk therapy alone. My work focuses not only on symptom reduction, but on understanding the deeper emotional and relational patterns contributing to emotional distress, disconnection, and feelings of being stuck. I especially enjoy working with thoughtful, motivated individuals and couples who are ready to engage in meaningful emotional work and create lasting change. I offer both virtual therapy sessions throughout New York as well as in-person sessions in Battery Park City, Manhattan.
