Kimia (she/her/hers) enjoys working with young adults, adults, and couples who are looking to focus on self-esteem, relationships, intimacy, sexuality, anxiety, depression, and women’s issues. Her approach is partially informed by her experience at the United Nations Human Rights Council and the International Campaign for Human Rights. Using a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, relational, and Gestalt techniques, Kimia emphasizes the here and now and seeks to build a strong interpersonal relationship with clients. She firmly believes that therapy should be a collaboration, not a dynamic where the therapist pursues a goal on behalf of their client. By working together with her clients’ individual needs, Kimia hopes to help individuals feel a greater sense of self-acceptance, self-confidence, and healing.

We provide psychotherapy on a weekly basis as part of our treatment model, helping clients make consistent progress over time. If you have any questions about your appointment or scheduling, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
