I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies at Grand Canyon University, and a Master of Science of Continuing Education in Psychology and Counseling at the University of West Alabama. My approach to counseling is more of a calming demeanor, using active listening to understand what's happening in your life. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing for clients who have experienced significant trauma. I use Mindfulness techniques and Cognitive Therapy for those experiencing anxiety and depression. I also address Spiritual trauma, provide divorce counseling, help with separation strategies and marriage conflict with individuals. I also use a lot of humor and want you to feel comfortable as you share your life stressors and concerns.
