“I love my therapist so so so so much. As someone who suffers from anxiety, it was a lot easier to open up to her and get the help and guidance I needed while being in the comfort of my home. I love the flexibility video sessions allow me. I didn't have to settle on a therapist based on location and I don't lose any time in my day commuting to my appts.”

Getting to know Kristen Eldridge

Hello, I'm Kris. Thank you for considering me as your counselor. I am a state-licensed and nationally certified counselor offering mental health counseling to individuals, families, and groups. I have a Bachelor of Education from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Education from Arizona State University. Before transitioning into counseling, I taught elementary and junior high school students for 18 years. After a highly successful career in education, I went back to school and earned a Master of Counseling from Arizona State University. I have extensive experience in counseling individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages, but I have a special affinity for working with early adolescents and teenagers. My previous career as an educator serves as the foundation for working with these clients and their families, allowing me to connect with them on a deeper level. Using a client-centered approach, I believe my clients are experts in their own lives. I view my role as a therapist as a facilitator who assists clients in discovering their own truths and gaining a deeper sense of themselves. I draw from several perspectives, including mindfulness, humanistic, existential, and cognitive-behavioral. This eclectic approach allows me to meet my clients where they are and help them get where they want to be.
