“I had an an amazing first visit with Kristin Mortier! She is a very down to earth, attentive listener and felt so comfortable with her right away! I wasn’t sure what to expect because I have never seen a therapist before. I didn’t even know what to talk about first honestly. She made me feel so comfortable the moment she spoke to me. I really connected with her so well. I look forward to our weekly sessions!!! I have been dealing with anxiety recently and she has tremendously helped me on how to cope with it. She’s super cheerful and I love her positive vibes! I highly highly recommend seeing her!!! Also her office called me back right away to schedule an appointment and the wait wasn’t long at all!!! :)”

It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

If working with your insurance company out of network, I make it easy. I submit all claims on your behalf and accept payment directly from your insurance company (Unless you're BCBS, then there's a different way we do that). Please inquire.

Kristen us absolutely amazing! I’m just a short time, she feels like a close friend. She listens and is responsive in such an honest manner. She’s very easy to talk to. She leaves the door open for when my anxiety hits out of nowhere, she’s only a text away and she replies as soon as she can and whether it’s just talking to me and letting me vent or she’ll give alternate ways to get myself calmed down from relaxing videos or breathing exercises. Some things don’t work for everyone but whatever does work for you, Kristen will find it. I can’t say enough positive about her. She’s a savior!
Kristen is a phenomenal therapist to work with!! It is a relief to find a human that is not only intuitive but empathetic by nature. She is truly compassionate, attentive, and genuine in giving feedback. She makes me feel comfortable to speak freely and without anxiety, which in turn helps my confidence. The wisdom I receive from her is insightful and pushes me to open the next door on my journey. I’m gaining a new set of life skills thanks to working with Kristen and I could not be more grateful.

Super genuine and insightful, goes out of her way to make sure you feel supported and prioritized. We need more professionals like her!
I started seeing Kristen during the early days of the Pandemic on a whim. She is quite literally my mental health rock now. She is there for me whenever I need her, going above and beyond. She makes me believe in myself even when I'm going through hard times. I feel very lucky to have her on my side. 100% would recommend for anyone going through it or even just someone looking to talk to someone.
Fantastic!
