This perspective lends itself to a genuine, authentic connection between counselor and client, which I feel is the foundation of any effective therapeutic experience. While my goal is always to meet the client where they are, my approach is based in CBT and includes specific training in trauma-focused therapy, DBT, and person-centered modalities to tailor the therapeutic experience to the needs of the client. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's degree from Le Moyne College. On to the journey!
