I have degrees from Grand Canyon University, Masters in Mental Health Counseling and University of Pheonix, Masters of Psychology. I have worked the last five years as a co occurring counselor at New Horizons Care Centers a non profit community treatment center in Spokane. I work with diverse populations and challenges. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), if I can change my thinking it can change my feelings which will change my behaviors. I look at the counseling relationship as a collaboration between the individual and counselor with the person being the expert of their own lives. Success is about progress and not perfection and I believe everyone has it in themselves to meet their goals. I work with individuals, families, and couples primarily adults 18 plus.
