Getting to know Latreece Ross

I understand how overwhelming life can get-whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, or going through a major life transition. Here, you're in a space where your voice matters, and you'll be heard without judgment. My name is LaTreece Ross, and I hold a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas. I'm here to walk with you through whatever challenges you're facing. Together, we'll work to uncover what's been holding you back and find the path to a more fulfilling, peaceful life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

If you are not your best right now, feeling sad, anxious, depressed, grieving, or even feeling helpless, I can help you. Everyone deserves a safe place to be heard, valued, and respected. I bring a comprehensive set of skills that will be valuable in my role as Licensed Therapist. I enjoy working with adolescents, couples, and families as I help them navigate difficult times and improve their relationship with themselves and others. I specialize in trauma informed care, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and coping with grief and loss. During our initial sessions, we will create a treatment plan and set goals for therapy. View 4 Photos In my School Counselor role with Dallas ISD and my experience with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, I honed my abilities in providing trauma-informed care and mental health counseling in my current role as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am dedicated to helping clients find new ways to cope with everyday life as they reframe their thought patterns. During therapy, I incorporate multiple modalities of treatment into my practice to give each client a unique experience that meets their specific needs. I am available to see clients on a flexible schedule, including the evening and weekends.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer therapy that’s customized for you because I believe in meeting people where they are. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or the stress of life’s transitions, I’m here to help. We’ll start with a plan that reflects your specific needs and goals, so you can make the progress you want at your own pace. My practice is 100% virtual, providing you with the flexibility and convenience to access therapy from wherever you feel most comfortable. Whether you're at home, at work, or traveling, virtual counseling offers a secure and private space for us to connect, without the added stress of commuting or scheduling conflicts. You’ll receive the same high level of personalized care, while enjoying the ease of therapy on your terms, making it simpler to prioritize your mental health and well-being. Our initial sessions will focus on getting to know you and what you’re going through. From there, we’ll develop a treatment plan tailored just for you.

She always gives the best advice and such an active listener. Wouldn’t want to go to anyone else.

Working with LaTreece Ross has truly been life changing. I’ve been through a lot, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m finally starting to understand myself and heal. She doesn’t just listen—she really sees me. She goes above and beyond, offering guidance, helpful resources, and options that make me feel supported and empowered. I can feel the difference in how I show up for myself and in my life. I’m so grateful for her care, wisdom, and dedication. She’s truly a blessing on my healing journey
She listens so well, makes you feel legitimately heard and doesn't make you feel bad for how you express yourself! Love her energy!!

LaTreece really listened to what I had to say. She made me feel safe enough to express my anger and hurt in whatever words I felt the need to use. She would reiterate with "I'm sensing that. . ." and would wait for me to confirm my feelings. Not once did she ask me "and how does that make you feel?" Our session wasn't just filled with a bunch of psycho babble. She really listened and gave me tools to help me on the road to healing.
