I worked as an acute care social worker in the traumatic brain and spinal cord injury unit at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases for many years. I have acted as the director of social services and mental health expert for multiple housing organizations across New York City. I spent seven years working as a forensic social worker at the largest civil legal services agency in the country. Here, I provided psychological evaluations and testimony for undocumented individuals and asylum seekers. Jointly, I've spent nearly a decade working for international organizations, where I offer testimony, expert mental health assessments, and provide narratives for immigrant children and families seeking reunification. I graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh earning a Master's Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health. I am licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. I have advanced training in Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic Theories, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
