    I was referred to Lauren by a family member who was a previous client of hers and highly recommended her as a therapist. I had been therapist ‘shopping’ and was really looking to find someone who would provide me with tools rather than just validation. Lauren exceeded that. She was present, warm and provided concrete feedback and tools to address some big concerns.     I couldn't be happier. Her perspective on my situation has opened by eyes in a lot of ways and I was someone super skeptical of "treatment." If you are afraid of therapy or have preconceived notions about what therapy is like, go see Lauren. Her style is so engaging and she is super easy to talk to. I have seen a few therapists in the past and Lauren is by far the best.
    First time visit: Lauren is engaging and friendly. Her responses to my initial statements demonstrated that she was listening intently and can think on her feet to come up with comments that were appropriate and grounded in rigorous training. There was a disconnect for me because these statements felt more scripted than personalized in a way that is meaningful to Lauren the individual.
    Lauren is a fantastic therapist; she listens actively and makes insightful observations. She challenges me to step outside my comfort zone and holds me accountable in a non-judgmental way. Can’t recommend strongly enough.
    She is incredibly thorough, warm and thoughtful- every time I met with her I left feeling refreshed and challenged to think about things in different ways. I have never left a single meeting with her without feeling like I have a better handle on something that I have been questioning over the past weeks. I'm very thankful to have found her.

    I’ve been working with Lauren for almost 2 years and since session 1 I felt heard and understood. I have always felt Lauren had my best interests in mind. I have a hard time opening up to people but my hard shell was cracked a lot sooner than I expected!
