Getting to know Lauren Jones

I help adults, college students, and teens who feel trapped in destructive patterns or isolated from others. I support them by identifying unhealthy dynamics and clarifying their values so that they can live in a way that is congruent with what they believe. I also help foster and adoptive families and children navigate challenges in creating and maintaining connections. As an adoptive mom myself, I recognize that there are unique joys and trials for families that have experienced the gift of fostering and adoption. I count it a privilege to journey alongside my clients in difficult seasons of life. Some of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, codependency, abuse, or difficult transitions. I know from working with individuals and families in different walks of life that it is possible to change and grow in ways that bring hope and healing to our own hearts and our relationships. My training includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baylor University, and a Master’s in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. When I am not with clients, I enjoy time with my husband and four children, deep conversations with friends, and Tiny Boxwood’s chocolate chip cookies. Lauren is not currently accepting new clients.
