“A sense of life meaning ensues but cannot be deliberately pursued: life meaning is always a derivative phenomenon that materializes when we have transcended ourselves.” I have experience working with people who have been diagnosed with serious mental illness, have had inpatient hospitalizations, people who have been incarcerated, people who need assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) due to psychotic illness, people who are visually impaired, particularly those with glaucoma, and people with personality disorders. I am comfortable working with queer identified folks, people of the global majority, and people of all economic backgrounds.
