Getting to know Lela Harrison

I have been working in mental health since 2004. My experience as a clinician includes utilizing multiple evidence-based practices while working at a community-based outpatient clinic; a hospital inpatient setting; probation camps; veteran services; home-based services; school-based services; and in private practice. Many of the clients I serve include individuals with anxiety; depression; OCD; PTSD; Bipolar Disorder; dual diagnosis; developmental disabilities; physical challenges; health-related issues; legal issues; and often a combination thereof. I am comfortable and experienced with working with diverse populations and I am culturally competent. I spent nine years of that time working at Penny Lane Centers, a community-based clinic that delivers integrated health care services to children, adolescents, adults, seniors, veterans, and victims of crime. I enjoy and believe in the work I do.
