Getting to know Leslie Davis

Hello, I'm Leslie. I became a mental health provider because our mental health shapes and forms other aspects of our lives. Mental health is vital! Since 2019, I have been a Doctor of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and adults with various concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, marital counseling, anger management, acute inpatient care, and partial hospitalization. I don’t believe that my role as a therapist is to 'save the world' or 'empower' my clients. Instead, I believe that together, my clients and I can work alongside each other to identify the tools within themselves and community resources to successfully reach their goals. This collaborative approach is at the heart of my therapeutic philosophy. In my practice, I offer a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Culturally Sensitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Multicultural Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. These diverse approaches allow me to tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs and preferences. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy home decor, cooking, and spending quality time with my family. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a sense of balance to my life, which I believe is essential for overall well-being.
