Hello, I'm Leslie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work. Over the past eight years, I've had the privilege of working as a clinical therapist at a mental health hospital in Colorado Springs, where I've supported clients ranging from teens to older adults. My experience as an inpatient clinical therapist has been diverse, allowing me to work with individuals facing depression, anxiety, Bipolar I and II, schizophrenia, and co-occurring addictions. I believe in meeting you where you are and providing a supportive space to address your mental health, addiction, grief, and loss challenges. My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness (DBT). These interventions help us understand the neuropathology of how our brain works, why it works that way, and how to break out of habitual thoughts and behaviors, particularly those related to PTSD. Having personal life experience in rising from struggling to thriving, I understand what it takes to navigate life's challenges and losses. My journey has fueled my passion for helping others achieve their dreams and improve their mental wellness.
