With over 28 years of experience in the field of behavioral health and substance use disorders, I have had the privilege of working with diverse client populations in various settings. From medical hospitals and emergency rooms to inpatient behavioral health, outpatient clinics, detox, residential treatment centers, private practice, and in-home services, my journey has been extensive and deeply rewarding. My passion lies in meeting clients where they are, without judgment or shame, and helping them navigate their unique paths to healing and recovery.
I am independently licensed in Arizona as a Substance Abuse Counselor and hold certifications as an International Trauma Specialist, in EMDR, and Acudetox. My approach is grounded in motivational interviewing, which allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with PTSD, addiction, anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. Additionally, I offer evaluations for DUI/DMV license revocations.
Beyond my clinical work, I am employed by CARF International as a consulting behavioral health surveyor and am a proud member of NAADAC. I am also working towards a National Certification as an Addiction Counselor, continually striving to enhance my skills and knowledge to better serve my clients.
