Getting to know Lilia Wilson

Hi, I’m Lilia, and I create a space for you to explore who you are, how you relate, and who you’re becoming. My practice of therapy is rooted in curiosity and compassion for the ways our experiences, relationships, and environments influence how we cope, connect, and make meaning.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a multi-racial person, living between languages, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds, I am familiar with the challenges of bridging the intersections of identities. I support people navigating how their experiences shape their understanding of self, and how that influences the ways they move through the world. My perspective is shaped by my work with vulnerable adults and older adults from diverse backgrounds, supporting people through grief, anxiety, burnout, relational challenges, life transitions, and complex relationships with substance use.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a relational, psychodynamic approach to therapy, and am an EMDR therapist in training, working to help clients process difficult experiences and explore patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others. My work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and an understanding of how family dynamics, cultural expectations, and past experiences influence our sense of self. I warmly welcome you to reach out.
