I earned my Master of Education in school counseling from the University of Puget Sound and dual Bachelor of Art degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Washington. I have over 20 years of experience in social services, including working as a youth counselor and case manager in a residential setting with at-risk and homeless youth. I also worked as a case manager in a foster care program for unaccompanied refugee children and youth. Prior to beginning my private practice, I worked as an elementary school counselor for 7.5 years. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, and strength based. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, social-emotional, and behavioral issues. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and other tailored treatment interventions to meet each individual's unique needs.
