Getting to know Lisa Arnone

When the time comes to make a change, it takes courage to ask for help. To be one who can respond to that request is a privilege. I believe the response needs to be gentle, warm, and welcoming. I integrate my relational approach with both long- and short-term, problem-focused psychotherapeutic work. I am trained psychodynamically and relationally and have recently added EMDR to my practice modalities to ease the burden of seemingly intractable trauma responses. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Smith College, which has deeply informed my approach to care. My focus, above all, is to create a meaningful connection. That connection provides a foundation for the work of diminishing suffering and supporting each person to be in their lives as fully and joyfully as possible.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
