Getting to know Lisa Clarke

I'm a licensed counselor and professional life coach with a Master's in Community Counseling from Regent University, a Bachelor's from Saint Leo University, and PsyD studies at California Southern University. I believe in creating healthier and happier lives because... we can! I help others do this every day! My theory and approach begin with loving the self, where peace and personal success start. This also has the added benefit of reverberating to our families and the wider world. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Theory, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and more in our work to help create more satisfying, practical, and beautiful lives! Let's work together! Just a quick note: I am NOT a prescribing psychologist. Please refer back to ZocDoc if that is your need.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Greetings, I take an empathic, strength-based approach incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian, Positive Psychology, Meditation, Nutrition for Mental Health, and some energy healing elements. I look forward to working with you to achieve your mental health, relationship, and personal development goals. Just a quick note: ***I am NOT a Prescribing Psychologist*** Please refer back to ZocDoc if that is your need***

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have a highly effective process that allows you to share your past week's mood, functioning, and achievement and dedicate time to your processing, therapy, and objective setting for the upcoming week. This process has been very comfortable, safe, and effective. My current clients have verbalized that they enjoy this formatting and look forward to our sessions.
