As a clinician who has practiced in the field of social work for well over two decades, I am eager to help you on your path to improvement. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2004 and have practiced in the areas of chronic illness, grief and loss, adult addiction, child welfare, anxiety and depression, and adjustment issues. I am also an educator and love to combine my clinical expertise with my passion for teaching to provide education as well as therapeutic assistance to guide my clients on their journey. I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in 1998 from Arizona State University and my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree from The University of Southern California in 2020. I became licensed as an independent practitioner in Arizona in 2004 and transferred that license to Colorado in 2006 when I relocated. I entered this field to make a difference in the lives of individuals who are facing a moment in time where they need some guidance. I am not here to tell you WHAT to do, but, with modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solutions Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, I help guide you to make changes and decisions that feel authentic to your unique situation. It can be daunting to not only seek therapeutic assistance in the first place, but to also find a provider you can trust.
