People come to me for many different reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety or depression, dealing with infidelity or relationship difficulties, questioning aspects of your identity, working through past trauma or sexual trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed by what is happening in your life. Sometimes people reach out because they have reached a point where they feel stuck and realize they could use professional support to help them move forward. I work with adolescents ages 15+, adults, older adults, couples, and families. My experience includes trauma and sexual trauma, PTSD, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, stress, substance use recovery, family conflict, sexual and gender identity, and relationship concerns. I’m passionate about the work I do and about helping people become “unstuck.” I believe people are looking to connect and grow—spiritually, psychologically, emotionally, or in their relationships—and therapy can help guide that process. I’m active, direct, honest, and engaging. I also use humor and tend to think outside the box. We’ll establish specific goals based on what you want from therapy, and I’ll use different evidence-based strategies based on your individual needs. Sessions are skills-based, and I may give you things to practice between appointments. I’m excited to start this journey with you, and I look forward to helping you work through whatever you’re finding challenging at this time in your life while developing skills that can help you move forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm a dedicated therapist committed to helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges and achieve emotional well-being. I specialize in a range of therapeutic areas to address the unique needs of my clients. I am particularly passionate about providing couples therapy, supporting those with anxiety and depression, and working with individuals exploring gender identity. My approach to therapy is both compassionate and clinically informed. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Couples/Marital Counseling to facilitate meaningful and lasting change. My expertise as a certified sex therapist further enhances my ability to support couples dealing with infidelity and those exploring alternative lifestyles, including LGBTQ+ relationships. In addition to my focus on couples therapy and mental health issues, I am highly experienced in addressing midlife transitions and PTSD/Trauma.
