The provider is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. *After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete required intake forms prior to your appointment* I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver. My clinical path has been shaped by a deep commitment to emotional wellness, whole-person care, and supporting clients through meaningful, identity-affirming work. I've had the opportunity to work across diverse settings from advocacy-driven crisis support to emotionally focused sex therapy and relationship counseling. These experiences have reinforced my belief that therapy can be a powerful space of return to self, to safety, and to possibility. I offer therapy that is compassionate, specialized, and rooted in science. My focus areas include sex therapy, intimacy and relationship concerns, compulsive behaviors, gender exploration, and non-monogamy. I also support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and self-worth challenges. My therapeutic work draws from Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO), emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). IFIO helps clients explore the internal parts of themselves that arise in conflict and connection. EFT guides individuals in understanding relational and attachment patterns shaped by emotional history. CBT offers practical tools to identify and reframe unhelpful beliefs into more empowering thought and behavior patterns. My approach is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and nonjudgmental. I've worked extensively with polyamorous relationships, clients recovering from infidelity, and individuals exploring compulsive sexual behaviors—always offering a steady, respectful presence. What I love most about this work is witnessing clients reconnect with parts of themselves they believed were lost or never allowed to be seen. These moments of reconnection are sacred, and I am honored to be a part of them.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you begin therapy with me, you can expect a grounded, collaborative space. I'm not here to lead or fix. I'm here to walk beside you. My role is to offer clinical tools, deep attunement, and genuine curiosity while honoring your lived experience and personal insight. I aim to meet you exactly where you are, whether you're in distress or in a place of growth and discovery. My approach is relational and respectful. You set the pace. Together, we can unpack patterns, explore your values, address emotional pain, and identify meaningful next steps. Whether we’re exploring intimacy challenges, compulsive behaviors, or gender identity, I show up with both warmth and clinical rigor. Therapy can feel steady, even when the content is difficult. I bring both emotional depth and practical tools to our work. That might mean gently offering a new perspective, helping you trace the roots of a behavior, or supporting you in practicing new skills. I welcome all emotions—grief, fear, joy, anger, uncertainty—and hold space for every part of you to be seen.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels more like a conversation than a clinical procedure. You're welcome to show up exactly as you are—messy, uncertain, reflective, or even silent. I focus on building trust and safety so you feel free to explore what matters most. Our work often blends emotion-focused exploration with skill-building. For example, in supporting a client struggling with compulsive use of VR pornography, we explored the emotional functions of the behavior, addressed underlying trauma and shame, and used CBT and mindfulness to help rebuild a more connected and embodied relationship with sexuality. This kind of integration—emotional insight, healing, and practical change—is central to how I practice. Depending on your goals, we might explore your relationships, clarify your values, revisit formative experiences, or try new ways of communicating and connecting. In couples or polyamorous relationship work, I use IFIO to help partners slow down and speak from deeper emotional truths rather than reactive parts. With individuals, EFIT and CBT offer grounded frameworks for understanding emotions and making meaningful change. Whether you’re processing trauma, reconnecting with your sexuality, or navigating identity and relationships, I aim to make therapy a refuge—a place where challenge is welcome and healing is always possible. You deserve care that honors your full self, and I’m here to offer it.
