Welcome—I am Lucas, a clinical psychology post-doctoral fellow at Bryant West Psychology. If you are seeking a compassionate, collaborative space to navigate life's challenges, I offer individual, couples, and group psychotherapy both online across New York State and in person in Midtown West, NYC. I specialize in working with adolescents, university students, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship and parent-child conflicts, we will work together to foster meaningful healing and growth. My practice also focuses heavily on supporting individuals of minority status—with dedicated expertise in Asian and Asian-American experiences—as well as those exploring modern masculinity and identity. I offer both in-person (near 40th and Broadway - Midtown) and virtual appointments (throughout NYS). What should a new client know about working with you?

I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University (GSAPP) and completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Albany Psychology Internship Consortium. My clinical background includes treating complex trauma, leading interpersonal therapy groups, treating serious mental illness on inpatient units, and collaborating with medical professionals in primary care settings.

Grounded in psychodynamic and emotion-focused principles, my approach helps you explore how past experiences shape your current self and relationships. Together, we safely navigate hidden or painful feelings and resolve internal conflicts so you can live and relate more authentically. I place warmth, open dialogue, and mutual understanding at the heart of our work every step of the way. Every person’s story is unique, and I am continuously inspired by the resilience of the individuals and families I serve.
