Psychotherapist

Hello, I'm Lucinda. Whether you have come through traumatic experiences or just feel “off” somehow, you have taken the brave step to make changes in your life. Together, we will identify the strengths you have used to bring you this far. You will gain insight and perspective on the patterns you want to change. At every step, you will be in control of your healing and progress. I find it rewarding to work with clients of all ages who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, adoption, autism, and grief. I draw from a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt, systems theory, and existentialism. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings and experiences without judgment. I have worked with adults and families to address life changes, domestic violence, addiction, and grief. I helped incarcerated youth and their families change detrimental patterns and improve interactions. As a middle school counselor, I worked with students, families, and staff to address everyday challenges, more serious issues, as well as those resulting from COVID. My diverse background has equipped me with the skills to support you through various life transitions and challenges. Whether you are having difficulty embracing change or need to initiate change in your life, I would be honored to be part of your journey. Let's work together to help you achieve your goals and improve your overall well-being. Feel free to reach out, and let's take this step towards healing and growth together.
