Whether it’s navigating anxiety, family conflict, multicultural issues, or a major life transition, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey. Mi casa es tu casa. I work with people from all walks of life and specialize in supporting Spanish-speaking individuals, adolescents aged 12 and older, and people from marginalized identities. My practice is grounded in an anti-oppressive and culturally responsive lens, recognizing the broader social and political factors affecting communities of color. I am passionate about empowering individuals and utilize a person-centered, culturally responsive, strengths-based approach to support people on their path towards healing and hope. I use an integrative approach to counseling, pulling from several different theories and modalities to fit your unique needs. I was born and raised in Denver, CO by parents who immigrated from Chihuahua, Mexico. My journey into social work was inspired by my experience as a first-generation Mexican-American woman. I am deeply committed to social justice and creating equitable, inclusive spaces for everyone. I earned both my Bachelor's degree in Social Work (2011) and Master's degree in Social Work (2013) from Colorado State University, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading books, listening to podcasts, salsa dancing, being outdoors, and spending time with my partner, friends, and family.
