Getting to know Marchita Hill

Amassed 500 hours of experience during graduate school at Friends University, where I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and over 4,000 hours of training and supervision as an LPC, LCPC, and MFT. I have worked in various settings with a wide variety of populations, acquiring valuable experience and skills working with individuals facing substance abuse issues, those previously or currently living in residential settings; dual diagnosis; PTSD; self-mutilation; ADHD; autism spectrum disorders; LGBT; eating disorders; marriage and family systems; grief and loss; D.I.D.; sexual perpetrators and victims of sexual abuse; anxiety; depression; borderline personality disorder; homelessness; as well as soldiers who have suffered traumas. My work in residential facilities, nursing homes, substance abuse centers, outpatient and inpatient mental health facilities, correctional facilities, eating disorder programs, and grief and loss support has all been of great value in strengthening my skills. I am a strong and valuable team member in multidisciplinary settings, very self-motivated, work well independently, enthusiastic, and a quick learner. I am licensed in Missouri as an LPC, licensed in Kansas as an LCPC, and currently applying for my Virginia state licensure.
