Psychotherapist
159 Bleecker St, Ste 2C, New York, NY
Therapy is your space to work through feelings big or small, exploring the concerns that are important to you and your wellbeing. As your counselor, I hope to create a collaborating, trusting, and healing dynamic, with an emphasis on the importance of a strong relational foundation. Therapy is not one size fits all, and I will work with you to discover what fits best for you and your needs. In my therapeutic style, I pull from many different modalities while focusing on a psychodynamic, person-centered lens. Our work may include uncovering early life patterns that show up in all versions of you, understand how relationships have been modeled throughout your life, and bringing it back to the person who is showing up to make that change today. My relationship with my clients is at the core of the work; my goal is to see the whole person. As my client, what I hope to do is to promote internal self-growth, develop a deeper and more thoughtful understanding of self and relationships, and assist in the navigation of your steps through life, in your shoes. I work primarily with adults managing varied life stressors, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationships, grief, and trauma. I completed my Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University, graduating magna cum laude. Prior to that, I hold a Bachelor’s in Communications from Fordham University.
