Getting to know Margaret Metcalfe
Hi, I can't wait to meet you! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University and a background in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. I have a deep understanding of employment issues as well as barriers due to disability, including mental health. I have worked with a diverse range of people for the last 20 plus years, and I love that diversity of humans. I welcome you and value your uniqueness. I provide an integrative approach to counseling that includes humanistic, person-centered therapy along with motivational interviewing. My style is conversational, and together we will identify barriers and develop a path to healing. I work remotely from the foothills of Mt. Baker in Northwest Washington. I am available virtually in Washington State and in person in Bellingham, Washington. My favorite thing is helping people develop and increase their joy in life.
