I am a mental health counselor with 20 years of experience. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Doctor in Education with a specialization in Special education in 2023. My BS degree was also from Nova Southern in 2000 and then I received my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and School Psychology from Marist College 2001. I am originally from Brazil and my primary language is Portuguese. Also, I am fluent in Spanish. I moved to the USA over 34 years ago. Currently, I am working as a mental health counselor and a school psychologist. I am specialized in working with bilingual students with learning disabilities in the Special Education department. In my personal life, I am an animal lover and have 5 dogs, 8 peacocks, 10 chickens, 2 Macaws, and a cockatoo. I love to travel and I am passionate about my work in the field of Mental Health. I personally believe that every client is unique, and has the potential to find happiness.
