What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is grounded, genuine, and centered around creating a space that actually feels human. I want clients to feel like they can come in exactly as they are — messy thoughts, uncertainty, humor, emotions and all — without feeling judged or pressured to “have it together.” I care deeply about building real, trusting connections and meeting people where they’re at, while helping them grow, heal, and feel more confident and at peace in their everyday lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When clients meet with me, I want them to feel comfortable being vulnerable because they know I will always welcome them - judgement free. When I meet with clients, I prioritize the therapeutic relationship. This is why I offer free 15-minute consultation phone calls - to allow clients and myself the opportunity to see if it may be a good fit. In the first session, the intake session, this serves as a chance for me to get to know you and your needs, and allow you to feel things out. From here I will be able to spend time understanding why you are coming to therapy, what your world looks like on a day-to-day basis, and what your goals are so that I will be able to provide you the counseling services that best suit you.
