I attended Alabama A&M University where I received the MSW degree and also hold a BA from Tennessee Tech and a Master of Theology and Master of Divinity degree from Fort Worth, TX, Before entering the field, I had been a minister, a marketing director, and a person on disability for 6 years. And for the past 8 years I've had the privilege of helping people overcome challenges, face crisis, and even find themselves again. Although I can be direct, I am also very easygoing and laidback. Therapy is a collaborative and joint effort between therapist and client. My basic approach is Existential -you have the capacity and ability to define and bring meaning to your life, My perspective is strengths-based- You already have within you the reservoir of strengths and abilities to solve your problem. Our work is to uncover, highlight, and build upon those things you already possess to meet your challenges and move forward.
