UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I like to incorporate mindfulness meditation practice into therapy when working with clients, encouraging them to practice being in the present moment and appreciate the here and now. This helps highlight what is working well for the client and allows them to gain better self-awareness of the positive aspects in their lives. By recognizing these strengths, clients can continue to do more of what benefits them, leading to a sense of wholeness, healing, and improvement. As a result, they often feel happier, more positive, and experience enhanced emotional and mental well-being. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.
