Hello, I'm Martha. Sometimes the difficulties of everyday life can have a way of causing us to break instead of bend. Maybe you've tried therapy in the past, and it didn't exactly have the desired effect. I know it's a gamble to put yourself out there in such a vulnerable way, but you are worth the risk. Helen Keller once said, 'Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of overcoming it.' I firmly believe that, and I'd like the chance to help you sort your pieces into something beautiful that you can be proud of. Although I've worked to earn the fancy degree and letters behind my name, what I'm most proud of is that for more than 11 years, I have dedicated my career to fighting for families within the Child Welfare system. This has given me a keen ability to connect, reach out, and advocate for a wide variety of situations and individuals dealing with trauma. I specialize in working with individuals facing depression, grief and bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, military and veteran support, multicultural and diversity issues, PTSD, stress, and trauma. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, aiming to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings and experiences without judgment. I understand that seeking therapy is a significant step, and I am here to support you through this journey. Whether you're dealing with past traumas, current stressors, or looking for ways to improve your overall mental health, I am committed to helping you find the strength and resilience within yourself. If you're ready to take that step, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create a path towards healing and growth.
