Hello, I'm Mary. My therapy practice is based on the conviction that everyone possesses the inherent ability to heal themselves. My goal is to help you rediscover and strengthen your own inner resources for healing and to help clarify issues that are coming up in your life. Using the appropriate therapy approaches and techniques, we can unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be getting in the way of leading a joyful, fulfilling life. I have worked for many years with individuals experiencing grief through volunteer work, as well as through my work as a psychotherapist. I have extensive experience in geriatric counseling and work with individuals seeking help for any kind of loss, anxiety, depression, and assistance in major life transitions. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA, I specialize in anxiety, grief/bereavement, life transitions, PTSD, spirituality, and trauma. I am compassionate, warm, and nonjudgmental. I believe there is wisdom to be discovered in even the most challenging times. When we work together, you can expect a safe, supportive environment where your feelings and experiences are validated. I am here to listen and to help you navigate through your struggles with empathy and understanding.
