Getting to know Mauricio Mairena

As a fellow human, I have experienced betrayal, loss and trauma. I understand that we all have our own journeys and I am sure yours is unique. It would be a pleasure to work with you in reaching your full potential.

What should a new client know about working with you?

If you feel you are stuck in life with negative thinking, ongoing uncomfortable emotions or unhealthy behaviors and need to create inner strength, process past trauma and develop fulfilling interactions, their is hope. We can work together in finding insights about self that will promote growth and the best version of yourself.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I've collaborated with several individuals in the last twenty years in order for them to find a better quality of life. As a licensed therapist, I have been trained in several modalities, specifically trauma and PTSD. We will engage in initial session to obtain health history and concluding diagnosis. Later we will engage in therapeutic sessions of about 45 to 60 to resolve current life challenges.

The insurances that I currently accept are Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Oxford, Cigna, Oscar Health, United Healthcare and Aetna. Each plan has their own copay.
