In my life, I have had many experiences that guided me to the world of social work, such as becoming a teen mom and experiencing the loss of people very close to me. These experiences led me to want to provide support to people in the midst of their own challenges. I know how scary and vulnerable it can feel to seek therapy- matter of fact, any type of help. In my work, I use an eclectic and holistic approach believing there is no one-size-fits-all. I believe in treating each person as a unique individual and considering their own set of experiences and cultural backgrounds. I love to get to know the people I work with and build connections during our therapeutic process. I aim to build psychologically safe spaces where my clients can have the security to explore emotions, experiences, and build coping skills to put in their toolbox.
