Psychotherapist
CO
Hi, I'm Megan, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with high-risk adolescents and individuals struggling with addiction. My time as the Lead Clinician at AspenRidge Recovery has given me extensive experience in helping those with substance abuse issues, and I've collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety disorders. As a therapist, I firmly believe that many of our problematic behaviors stem from unresolved feelings related to past trauma, whether these feelings are conscious or subconscious. My approach is to work closely with my clients, using individualized techniques to help them understand how their current life stressors might be connected to past events. I view my clients through a holistic lens, encouraging them to strive for a balanced life. I specialize in a variety of areas, including addiction, ADHD, adolescent and teen mental and behavioral health, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, family relationships, grief and bereavement, intimate and romantic relationships, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, military and veteran support, narcissistic personality disorder, psychosis and schizophrenia, PTSD, sleep disorders, somatic symptom disorder, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, and trauma. Currently, I am only seeing clients virtually, which allows for flexibility and convenience in scheduling sessions. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey towards healing and growth. Please feel free to reach out if you think we might be a good fit.
