UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I utilize a client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring techniques based on each client’s unique personality, desires, and treatment goals. I have found that incorporating multiple therapeutic approaches allows for individuality within treatment. I typically draw from Depth Psychology, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Existential Therapy. I believe that each individual is unique and an expert on themselves. Within the therapeutic relationship, clients are empowered to reduce suffering, live more fulfilling lives, and gain greater insight into themselves. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University, which have provided me with a strong foundation to support my client-centered and integrative approach to therapy.
