Hello, I'm Melissa, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with you and support you on your therapeutic journey. My passion lies in helping individuals gain deeper insights into their behaviors, while empowering them to build on their existing strengths and develop new skills that can make a meaningful impact in their everyday lives. Outside of my work, I’m a proud mom who spends a lot of time cheering on my two daughters as they compete in softball, soccer, and basketball. When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me at a field or court, supporting their athletic endeavors. I also teach introductory psychology at a community college, where it’s incredibly rewarding to watch students develop their passion for the field. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in Colorado, with 9 years of experience in helping individuals navigate challenges like stress, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and bipolar disorder. I am committed to treating each person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. In our work together, I’ll customize our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique needs, ensuring that we develop a comprehensive approach to help you achieve your goals.
